The Youth Day will culminate in the final of the competition of start-ups fighting for prizes such as the opportunity of capital entry of up to 1.5 million zlotys. Finalists are excellent examples of how to effectively combine such resources as business acumen, intuition, innovation, and creativity with science and business.

The workshop will familiarise a group of young people with the Design Thinking approach, which may serve as a catalyst for creative thinking in the sectors of education and commercialisation of research results. The programme offers support for scientists at the very beginning of their careers in the form of scholarships awarded for successes and achievements in their fields. The annual scholarship in the preceding years amounted to PLN 28.000,00. Another call of applications will be launched in September this year

Science for Business: Universities Lab Open Day

The objective of this event is to inspire young scientists to undertake interdisciplinary research. The forum also serves as a platform for sharing information on the studies being conducted, new project ideas and the potential for its commercialisation as well as sources of funding.

The Finale of a startup competition (Startup Exchange) will crown the Young Scientists' Forum. The finalists serve as excellent examples of how to effectively combine such characteristics as entrepreneurial spirit, intuition, innovation, and ingenuity, with science and business

CONGRESS INAUGURATION – a debate of twinned cities and partner regions of the Lubelskie Voivodeship

The presence of local-government representatives from around the world will highlight the international nature of the event. Representatives of regions from North America, Asia, the EU and Eastern Europe have already confirmed their participation. The 4-day economic congress will be inaugurated with a debate that will provide a valuable platform for discussion and exchange of experiences, as well as an opportunity to summarise supraregional initiatives.

The annual Innovation Gala is an overview of the best and most innovative companies in the Lubelskie Voivodeship. During the Gala, we will have the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs who have received funding from the Lubelskie Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020. The Gala will award Innovation Leaders, i.e. companies which have made a unique contribution to the development of the region through their innovative activities. Distinctions will be awarded in the categories of Lubelskie Voivodeship’s smart specialisations (by invitation only)
